Henry Ford Exhibit (our work)

December 17th is the anniversary of The Wright Brothers’ famous FIRST FLIGHT at Kitty Hawk, North Carolina, USA. This was back in 1903!!

I was hired by Sound Editor/Sound Designer Spencer Hall to record an antique Ford Tri-Motor plane for a new exhibit at The Henry Ford museum. While in Tennessee, Spencer flew and recorded Onboard sounds (next to my fixed Onboard recording rig) while I stood on the runway capturing Startup, Taxiing, Flybys, and Shutdown sounds.

My Boeing Commercial aircraft library was also used for the exhibit.

Special thanks to Spencer Hall, The Henry Ford Museum, the pilot, and others who were involved. Enjoy this video!
