The following is a educational behind the scenes video of me recording a swinging ship ride for Planet Coaster game. I was hired to do multi-track Onboard recordings, Following stereo recordings, and Static stereo recordings of various rides for the game.

With the relaxed elbow close to my hip, I can stand in one position for a long time. Moreover, the grip isn't too tight on the Rycote pistol grip. Gripping too tightly (or rubbing) on the pistol grip is a common problem I see beginners do.

Remember! Relax in a fixed position with steady light breathing and don't over-hold your pistol grips. ;-)
