Toyota Commercial

Charles Deenen from Source Sound hired me to do part of the recordings for this high end Toyota commercial (titled Vroom). I was tasked to be with the film crew in North Carolina and worked closely with Stunt driver Greg Tracy. With multiple microphones for Onboard (mics in engine compartment, cabin, and exhaust areas), we recorded the GR Supra, GR 86, Tundra TRD Pro, Midget race car, and Camry TRD.

Strapped on is a K-Tek Stingray Jr bag and recorder recording Onboard perspective sounds (capturing sounds of engine, cabin, and exhausts).

Stunt driver Greg Tracy and I tore up the parking lot at this track, LOL!

I got to stand and record from middle of the dirt track to capture External perspective sounds (while Onboard sounds were being captured using a separate set of recorder and mics)
