iRacing race car I recorded

iRacing.com hired me to record the sounds of this incredible LMP3 race car (Ligier JS P320). I am amazed at great this beast sounds and shocked at how fast and violent the ride is! Drivers told me that it’s teeth chattering when you race this car, LOL!

This game looks and sounds great because of team efforts!!

This session was done at world famous Daytona Speedway race track in Florida. Tons of zip ties & Pro Gaff tape were used to mount Onboard microphones (in cabin, engine compartment, and next to exhaust). While the car was running, I stood on the side to capture External perspective sounds (using a separate field recorder and MS stereo mic).
