New Pennzoil Race Car Commercial I got to work on

Back in March I was hired by Source Sound Inc to record a Crazy Fast race car at a dragstrip track outside Dallas, Texas. Little did I know but the theme is night racing. We didn’t end until 2AM!!

This custom twin turbo car has the exhaust system just above the engine area. They ran without the hood so I had to reconfigure my mics to be able to handle loud exhaust at the engine compartment. Moreover, I had to use more wind baffling for those areas. All and all, the recordings came out quite well, easier for the sound designers to work with at Source Sound. Thank you for your support.

The following is another Pennzoil commercial I got to work on. This was from many years ago. We recorded the sounds in Bradenton, Florida. Turn UP your volume!
